Things You Can Do

1. Sign the ADA Petition
In response to the dramatic narrowing of the ADA in the courts, ADA Watch is hosting a petition to encourage Congress and the President to pass and sign a bipartisan ”ADA Restoration Act” that would restore vital civil right protections for children and adults with physical, mental, cognitive and developmental disabilities.  To view and sign the petition, please visit the petition page.

2. Contact Congress
Contacting Congress sounds harder than it actually is.  Actually, it is quite simple!  Please visit the Contact Congress page to see the many different ways you can contact Congress and help to make a difference.

3. Sign up for News & Alerts
Stay informed by email with periodic news and alerts about the ADA and the Road To Freedom by signing up for ADA Watch news and alerts.

4. Join an Organization
If you are a person with a disability, a family member, an advocate – or just someone who cares about people with disabilities – there are organizations that need your support.

5. Donate to ADA Watch
You can help keep the Road To Freedom bus on the road and support our educational efforts by contributing to the National Coalition for Disability Rights (NCDR), a 501(c)3 charitable organization.  Click here for information on how to make a tax deductable donation.
